Description:
Suzuka is the circuit drivers talk about with real affection — the only figure-eight on the calendar, fast and flowing, unforgiving if you get it wrong.
I wanted the canvas to feel like the season around the race rather than the race itself, so the background is brushed in soft pearl grey and the petals are dropped and flicked on in two pinks, some heavy, some barely there. The circuit is outlined in black with a white core running through it, so the line reads as calm against all that scatter.
Original acrylic on canvas, 20 x 20 cm. Signed on the reverse. Comes with a certificate of authenticity.
