Where Stillness Lives
I used to think of stillness as the absence of something. This collection came out of realising it isn’t. Stillness has its own movement and its own weight, and it usually outlasts the noise around it.
These are the paintings where that idea keeps surfacing, connection that doesn’t travel in a straight line, the moment quiet stops being quiet and starts going somewhere, the sound that keeps travelling long after the source has fallen silent.
They weren’t planned as a set. I painted them separately and only later saw they were the same question approached from different sides, which is why the collection stays open. Work joins it whenever a painting turns out to belong here.
Every piece is an original acrylic on canvas, signed on the reverse, and comes with a certificate of authenticity.
